Hello, my name is Ronja. I channel energy that I once used for competitive long jumping into creating vibrant art.
I’m a German based in the Netherlands with my boyfriend and our dog.
My creative process
Joy is at the heart of everything I create. I follow what excites me — and let go of what doesn’t. I love learning, experimenting, and seeing where the process takes me.
My only rule is: there are no rules.
I work mainly with acrylics on untreated cotton canvas, which I often stretch myself — so any size is possible. I also use materials like sand, spray paint, and pastels. My approach is intuitive and playful, led by emotion rather than plans.
In the end, my art is about capturing energy and emotion — and sharing the joy I feel while creating.
My Goal with my Art
Through my artwork, I want everyone who experiences it to feel understood, not alone, and, most importantly, I want to bring a smile to their face! My work is joyful, positive, and strong.
Only when I feel this sense of fulfillment do I consider a painting finished. With every new piece, I strive to grow and develop as an artist, and I’m happy to share this learning process with you.
