Coffee because adulting is hard (85x85cm)

Price upon request

The inspiration for this piece came after a barista course, where I not only learned how to make good coffee, but also felt just how much heart and craftsmanship goes into it.

What does coffee mean to you?
To me, coffee is more than just caffeine: it’s my daily start into the day, my quiet companion on peaceful mornings, my little luxury in the afternoon.

Sometimes, coffee means time spent with good friends. Sometimes, it’s a moment just for myself. I enjoy it at home, wrapped in both hands around the cup – or on the go, in the bustle of everyday life. And yes, sometimes it’s simply a survival mechanism.

This painting captures exactly that complexity. It’s warm, vibrant, and a little melancholic. Just like a really good cup of coffee.
...and if you look closely, you’ll see I even worked with real coffee in it! ;)
